How long do I bake my pie for?

See our Baking Instructions page for instruction on all our pie sizes.

How should I serve my pie?

Sweet pies should be allowed to cool a bit after baking before slicing and serving. Savory pies can be served straight from the oven. Sweet pies can be topped with your choice of ice cream, sour cream, mascarpone cheese or Greek yogurt. Some folks prefer their apple pie topped with a slice of extra sharp Cheddar cheese.

Why do we ship our pies frozen and unbaked?

Freezing preserves the high-quality ingredients we put in every pie. Pies keep well-wrapped in your freezer for up to three months.  Hinman Pies are shipped unbaked so they arrive in perfect shape. When you bake it yourself, you get to taste the pie at its peak flavor and to fill your house with that glorious just-baked Hinman Pie aroma.
